EADE Mandate

Supporting and participating in the development of the civil community and local social economic,infrastructure, environmental conserving projects and humanitarian implementations and the concentration on the human being and how could be engaged to effect directly in making the positive changes in the community.

HISTORY OF EADE STAFF

During the period from 2009 to 2012, our current staff conducted many distributions of NFI and rehabilitations of IDPs/Returnees shelters in Nineveh and some locations in Kurdistan under the partnership of ACD and WDSO organizations with UNHCR, where the present EADE director was the project manager for ACD organization and the team leader of these activities, while other members of the staff were employed at WDSO. The projects included rehabilitation of about 1000 shelter for IDPs/Returnees and vulnerable people in Nineveh governorate, in addition other shelters affected by bombs and terrorism attacks in hot locations. The activities alson icluded construction of many services project related to the POC such as schools, health centers and sanitary projects (water & waste water). These locations includes Mosul center, Khazna village, Shrekhan village, Bazwaya and Zummar. All these activities were successfully achieved. Photos, all information and work details were uploaded online to the United Nations archive and records through the PTD system which was professionally used by our staff to reflect and following up the implementations activities daily. The activities of NFI distribution included many Districts in Mosul, Sinjar, Telafar, Al-Himdaniah and other locations wherever there were IDPs and Returnees according to the UNHCR planned its partners ACD and WDSO organizations.

During the past period, EADE staff awarded many certificates after joining training courses, workshops and sessions conducted by UN Agencies and national NGOs such as UNHCR, OCHA and Mercy Corps,as well as other organizations.

Means of achieving the Goals

-Supporting and participating in the humanitarian activities and programs that serves refugees, IDPs/Returnees and vulnerable people.
-Submitting of reports and assessments of the situations of refugees, IDPs/Returnees and vulnerable people in Kurdistan and other Governorates in Iraq.
-Preparing data base for refugees, IDPs/Returnees and updating all information through conducting continuous visits for their locations in Kurdistan and other Governorates in Iraq.
-Participating in the implementation of economic development projects, infrastructures and service in all fields of local economic that are delivered and suggested by civil society activities & UN Agencies.
-Conducting sessions, training courses, workshops and conferences regarding local environmental awareness and reserving to protect environment and controlling pollution.
-Participation in the local media and following up the press that is dealing with the humanitarian & environmental affairs.
-Communicating and coordinating with other local, foreign, and international organizations.
-Submitting of consultations, researches, visibility studied and studies about engineering projects, designs, suggested projects, reconstruction of infrastructure and environment schemes and aspects.
