ADE conducted awareness campaign in Mosul city to encourage and urge people taking Covid-19 vaccine.

Based on the instructions of NGO Directorate’s General manager Mr. Asharf Abdul-Karim Murad, Engineering Association for development and Environment, EADE conducted awareness campaign in Mosul city to encourage and urge people taking Covid-19 vaccine. The campaign included distribution 1500 leaflets brochure showing the importance of taking the vaccine. Mr. Samir Sadiq coordinator of DNGO at Kurdistan Region also participated at the campaign. The campaign included distributed leaflets at health institutes and centers in Mosul city, in addition to people at markets and neighborhoods.

EADE, has achieved and built a successful cooperation with governmental and private educational institutions

In order to achieve the interaction between educational institutions and civil society organizations, as an indicator of the awareness and enthusiasm among the for all parties specialized in education to revive successful scientific initiatives and the desire to support and motivate the educational process in Iraq within the available capabilities forward all under Ministry of Education sponsorship, Engineering Association for Development and Environment-EADE, has achieved and built a successful cooperation with governmental and private educational institutions. One of the best samples is Al-Mobdioon Private school. This school has gained the first prize on the third version 2020 of “Prince Mohammed Bin Fahad International Foundation Insignia’s competition “ . EADE has the proud seeing Al-Mobidoon Private school won the first prize on global level for the project “ The Programmer of the Future Competition for ages under 18” submitted by the school. “Seeing such a global achievements gained by Al-Mobidoon school within its simple capacities, encourage us to provide more support to the educational process” said EADE Director.

Engineering Association for Development and the Environment-EADE held an educational health lecture

On Sunday, January 24, the for a group of teachers from some schools covered by the network plan and others also, during which Dr. Ahmed touched on the healthy ways of dealing with students in schools to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic and how is the proper behavior in the event of suspicion of an infection and what are the symptoms that the staff in schools can pay attention to, even in the staffs’ dealings with each other, and even their dealings with the community in the event of the pandemic spread. The doctor presented the methods of prevention and isolation and how to maintain the safety of staff and students in the correct manner of prevention methods and the need to use masks and correct methods of wearing and taking them off and using sterilizers.
The symposium was held in the hall of the Al-Mubda’oun Private School in Mosul. The means of transportation was provided for the teachers to attend the symposium which was attended by 24 female teachers and 7 male teachers from different schools.

On the occasion of World Education Day, a delegation from the British Council and the Engineering Association for Development and Environment-EADE, representing the Education Network in Iraq, visited Mr. Yusef Al-Sebawi, Director of Nineveh Education, and was honored with the shield of the British Council and branded with the slogan campaign of (I will not leave the school). The delegation presented the strategies that the Council developed in order to improve the quality Education in Iraq. The visiting delegation commended the efforts of the Director of Intensive Education in serving the educational process and working to provide the best services to our students, to improve the educational reality in Nineveh Governorate.

Within : ” Distribution Hygiene promotion material and Covid-19 awareness in Sinjar, Hawija and Tal afar, Funded by German Humanitarian Assistance and Mission East technical support EADE, distributed 225 hygiene kits at Tal afar neighborhoods (Al-Taleaa and Al-Montadet) and Abo Maria, Alrahma and Alasheq villages . Also covid-19 awareness to 225 families has as been conducted.
